We made it to Morro bay Saturday evening, but just shopped and got settled in. Sunday we enjoyed going to church at the Morro Bay ward, and then walking at the beach.
We had some interesting discoveries. The beach was covered with these Valella Valella hydrozoans (similar to jellyfish). It seems the beach by the rock always has something new to explore, which is one reason we love to go there.
The kids also enjoyed digging for ghost crabs.

Preston...how can you be so sad on the beach this beautiful? But this ended up being common for the rest of the week. Preston was not feeling good, not sleeping well, and was very ornery. There was a lot of melting down screaming fits. Good thing we were on vacation.
We went back to the house for Father's Day dinner of Ribs, Mashed Potatoes, and Veggies.
Brielle prepared the strawberry shortcake for dessert with lots and lots of strawberries to chop.
