Happy 1st Birthday Preston!

Preston turns 1 today!
He got to celebrate 2 days early on his Grandma Finlay's birthday with our close-by extended family.
He was VERY excited about his cake (and the fire on top of the cake.)
After digging in with his hands, he went for the spoon...
apparently that wasn't fast enough, so he went for the face plant.
He frequently gets hosed off after meals.  And loves it!

Aquarium of the Pacific

Ethan got to go on a field trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific with the preschool programs at the school he attends speech class.  He loved the chance to ride on the school bus.

I was able to bring meet him there (along with Preston, and cousin Elise.)

The loved all the touch tanks best.  These moon jellies were very cool and interesting texture.

It was fun to see and learn about more ocean animal life.

And, just to prove Preston came, I did finally get him in a picture before we left.  He was in the ergo the first part of the day, then transferred to the stroller to eat lunch.  He seemed to enjoy it as well.
