A brief description of our week:
Our boat week started a couple weeks early when we got to meet our cousin and tour the Coast Guard boat she was on duty patrolling near us.
We went to dinner at The Boat (actually called Clearman's Galley, although I've never heard anyone actually refer to it as that.) They have a lot of model boats on display that are exciting to look at.
We took a field trip back to the Noah's Ark exhibit at the Skirball Museum. On the ride there, Brielle was excitedly explaining to her cousins (who hadn't been there before) all the fun things they could do.
We drew, collage, folded boats.
played some boat and fish learning games
floated boats in the pond
played sink or float (guessing if the item would float before putting it in the water)
and ended the week at a pirate themed birthday party with a giant blow up boat for great kid entertainment.

That was awfully convenient of someone to have a pirate party right during boat week. Sounds like you had good times, as always.
