Preston turns 3 today!
He has been so excited, singing happy birthday to himself for a couple weeks now.
He specifically wanted a black airplane cake with m&ms on it this year. James and I worked together to build and decorate. James added the finishing touch making a propeller out of k'nex, and covering it with fondant.
Preston asks to go on an airplane at least once every. single. day. I thought he would move past it when we went on an airplane trip to El Paso in February, but as soon as we got back he continued to ask to go on an airplane ride. Luckily for him we have a couple more plane trips planned this year.
When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday meals, he said just the airplane cake. So he has been pretty easy to please this year. We celebrated with family on Sunday, and are doing some fun stuff with friends today to keep on celebrating.
