We did a theme week about hearts/valentine's the week before Valentine's day to give the kids plenty of time to make valentine's cards.
Food-pretty much everything we ate for a week was in the shape of a heart. Heart shaped sandwiches, quesidillas, pizzas, cookies, hotdogs, jello, puffy pancakes, cheesecake...
We used conversation hearts for color sorting, graphing, stacking, making patterns, decorating and of course eating.
Brielle discovered a love of cutting out hearts. We had hearts all over the house.
We used this idea to sort a deck of cards into suits. Then arrange in number order and make a pattern.
Valentine's books, parties and fun. Great week!

Looks like a lot of love going on! And I'm very impressed with B's writing.
