I'm pretty sure Christmas Eve revolved around food. Well, maybe not completely, but here is a glimpse of the food related portion of the day.
The morning started with a girls-only breakfast at Mimi's Cafe. A chance to relax, get away, and enjoy each other's company before getting back to the last minute details of Christmas.
I thought the boys might use the girl get-away as a chance to hurry and do their Christmas shopping, but they were all done. They met at the donut shop for the guys-only breakfast.
We had a fancy china-plate dinner that evening that was amazing. Prime Rib, twice-baked potatoes, asparagus and caesar salad. And, don't forget one of my favorite desserts: Black and white cheesecake with raspberry sauce. Yummy!
The cookies we had decorated the night before were left for Santa. Reindeer food was sprinkled outside. Everyone was well fed all day.
